For the next 12 weeks I’m participating in a program called Runway as an extension of Write of Passage. An intensive writing bootcamp to keep the momentum going with my writing endeavors. My goal is to publish 12 weeks of articles! A secondary goal is to continue growing this newsletter to reach at least 100 entrepreneurs looking for a community to share ideas, resources and keep shipping! 

🗯 Creating a Win/Win

Negotiation is an underrated skill in business. I’ve been on the search for a photo studio in PDX to book studio shoots and host events for locals in the area. To find the right place, it’s taken time to research and understand how I can make it a win/win for everyone involved. Some of the rates were above my budget, though with the help of great friends I leaned into how to make a great offer using what I already have. I got to speak with the studio owner and we’re in the works of next steps to join other photographers to split the cost! So cool to find out what options are available when you just ask.

🎶 What’s Evi performing? 

Coming down from the high of last night’s concert where my band, Caicedo, opened for Hello Seahorse. The colorful lights and smoke machine really gave the theatre an intimate atmosphere. The crowd gathered by the stage and we had everyone dancing! Definitely one for the books and excited to share about our next show, July 9th.
