What would your 19 yr self need to know?

⏳ Entering A New Decade

Do you remember the anticipation of turning 20? Unsure of what challenges you may face and circumstance would come your way? My youngest brother is entering his second decade next month. He’s a Scorpio and reminds me every chance he gets. 

Being 27 now, I think I’ve learned a thing or two. Especially as I’m gracefully seeing my way out into my 30s. He asked me what I could share from what I learned, and I considered this for a few moments. Ultimately, I decided to prompt some folks on IG what advice they would give themselves and I put it together to share. I sent this image to him and he really appreciated it! I’ve realized this can apply to anyone really. Life is a continuous cycle of victories and defeats. No one has it all figured out and that’s the fun part! Aging in my opinion, only gets better.

🎃 New Halloween Tradition

It’s easy to follow traditions that have been passed down for generations. Though throughout the years many have died out and it gives me an opportunity to start some of my own. I’m not one for trick-or-treating, too much candy gives me stomach aches. Last year I celebrated Halloween at Kareoke concert with one of my favorite artists, Allen Stone. This year I’ll be jumping off a plane in my unicorn onesie and there’s no greater joy than adding some adventure on Halloween. Who knows what next year will bring.
